Planting
Westerveld pays close attention to planting. We aim to promote a planting scheme that reflects the legacy of ‘our’ landscape gardener, Zocher. In his spirit, the planting scheme is adapted to the specific requirements of the dunes. You may choose between permanent planting, seasonal plants or a combination of the two. Next of kin may provide plants or (partially) leave this to our professional gardeners.

Maintenance
Everyone contributes to the general maintenance of the cemetery. Moreover, after placing a memorial stone, you will be required to fund the maintenance of that stone and any inscription. You are not however obliged to maintain plants, as specific agreements can be made for this.
