In the limelight

Its unique historical and cultural character, its charming location and the almost un-Dutch atmosphere of its grounds means Westerveld has often been used over the years as a site for television and film recordings. Numerous TV producers and film-makers have chosen, and continue to choose, Westerveld as the location for their programmes, series, documentaries and features films.
In 1970, the popular television series ‘de Kleine Waarheid’, featuring Willeke Alberti – who subsequently went on to become a national celebrity – was partly recorded here. Later on, Westerveld served as a recording location for series such as Coverstory and Unit 13, various documentaries and programmes like ‘Heb ik dat’.
